Hello! I’m Tina Lam, Executive Producer / Associate Director of Production, currently at TBWA\Chiat\Day NY. I produce. I executive produce. And, I lead and mentor a team of producers + executive producers (and everyone in between).
I have been working in advertising for almost two decades, and can produce anything from traditional film ads, non traditional ads, fully integrated campaigns, print, OOH, digital, experiential, etc. I went to school for fine arts & photography and always bring a creative point of view to everything I work on.
I got my start in advertising by answering a Craigslist ad for a small ad agency (that I definitely was not qualified for). However, they gave me a chance and hired me as a receptionist (which, incidentally, I was also not qualified for). I had the opportunity to try out various business + creative roles before naturally finding my way to production. And I’ve been making stuff ever since. I’m an innovative problem solver, and love finding ways to make the seemingly impossible, possible.
My creatively driven and collaborative approach fosters strong relationships with clients, vendors/partners, and team members, which often leads to successful and happy outcomes. I love building strong and lasting communities within my teams, as well as cross-functionally.
I have a passion for efficiency and creativity, and am continuously seeking to optimize processes, while also guiding and inspiring teams to achieve creative production excellence.
And I’m working on how to speak in the third person, but so far it’s not going well.
